Scantily clad women and super heroes spotted in San Diego

COSTUMED comic book fans have turned out in their thousands for the annual San Diego Comic Convention.

Heralded as the biggest American pop culture convention, many fans dressed as their favourite superheroes. They were costumed as anything from Japanese anime girls to Spider-Man, Superman and even Captain Jack Sparrow.
