A woman has told a court how she saw Tommy Sheridan at a swingers' club in Manchester and has admitted she recognised the politician because "of what he did with the poll tax".
Pamela Tucker, 36, told the former Socialist MSP's perjury trial at the High Court in Glasgow she later invited Mr Sheridan and a group of his friends back to the flat she was staying in for a cup of tea before he went home. She told the court he had to go back "because he had a wife".
Ms Tucker told the advocate depute, Alex Prentice QC, the meeting happened in "the cold weather - later September to November". She said she thought the year was "between 2000 and 2003", but she couldn't be sure because of the time that had elapsed since.
