Car thieves leave OAP in hospital

A pensioner has been injured in a hit-and-run accident involving a stolen car.

The 80-year-old woman was left with a broken leg and knee when she was hit while crossing the Gallowgate in Glasgow city centre.

The car was being followed by a police car at the time but officers did not see what happened.
