Rape support charity launches TV ad

A TV advert aimed at tackling prejudices towards women who have been raped has been launched.

The Not Ever advert, launched by Rape Crisis Scotland, shows a woman enjoying herself in a bar wearing a short skirt, when a man says: "She's asking for it."

It then shows an earlier shopping scene, in which the woman tells a shop assistant: "I'm going out tonight and I want to get raped. I need a skirt that'll encourage a guy to have sex with me against my will."
