Local food 'needs more promotion'

Visitor attractions could do more to promote Scottish food and drink, the Government has said.

Rural Affairs Secretary Richard Lochhead admitted that many tourist attractions were already offering up local produce to their visitors.

But he said: "Many others could do a lot more to celebrate and offer our famous dishes to visitors from home and abroad."
