Salmond pressed on quango bonuses

Liberal Democrat leader Tavish Scott has attempted to switch the focus on bonus payments to the Scottish Government.

He raised the issue with Alex Salmond after the Royal Bank of Scotland announced it will pay out £1.6 billion on bonuses despite posting losses of £3.6 billion.

Mr Scott, speaking during First Minister's Questions, said: "His Government's economic development quango, Scottish Enterprise, paid £912,000 in bonuses last year.
