Man stabbed by flat intruders

A man was stabbed by intruders after interrupting an assault at a city flat, police has said.

The 44-year-old was taken to hospital when three men turned on him at the flat in Cardross Street, Dennistoun, Glasgow.

The intruders had forced their way in shortly after midnight and began assaulting two women, aged 37 and 39, before the man arrived.
