Bomber's reception wrong - Salmond

Scotland's First Minister has condemned the "hero's welcome" given to the Lockerbie bomber as he arrived back in Libya.

But Alex Salmond defended the decision to free Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi, despite a storm of criticism on both sides of the Atlantic.

He said the scenes in Tripoli, where a jubilant crowd - some waving Scottish flags - greeted the bomber, should not have been allowed.
