MP defends expenses claims

A Scottish Labour MP defended his expenses claims over furniture.

Michael Connarty said he had followed House of Commons rules to furnish his flat in London.

The Daily Telegraph reported that furniture bought by Mr Connarty, MP for Linlithgow and Falkirk East, was delivered to his home address in Scotland.
