The widow of footballer Phil O'Donnell said scarves and strips left in memory of her husband would be sent to some of the world's poorest children.
Eileen O'Donnell, 36, said she did not want the enormous tribute paid to the Motherwell captain to be in vain.
So after much washing and ironing, the thousands of tops and scarves will be taken to some of the most impoverished corners of the world.
