Health service minimum wage urged

The Scottish Government was urged to ensure all health service staff are paid at least £7 an hour.

Labour made the call, with leader Iain Gray claiming the move could help nearly 10,000 families.

It comes after Scotland's largest local authority, Glasgow City Council, announced it is to pay all its workers a minimum of £7 an hour.
