Youngsters seek Christmas treats

Scots youngsters are getting better than ever at hunting down their Christmas gifts before the big day, according to new research.

In the north east, more than a quarter of children (28%) spoil the surprise by finding their presents before they go under the tree.

The findings by Clydesdale Bank come despite crafty parents stashing the goods in unlikely places.
