Town on guard after big cat attack

Residents of a Scottish town have been warned to be on their guard after an elderly woman was attacked by a large cat.

Police have urged anyone who sees the "unusually large cat" to contact them.

The 74-year-old resident of Alness in the Highlands told police she had been attacked by the animal. She was left with cuts to her leg and hands and required stitches.
