'Half planning career change'

Almost half of Scots are considering changing their career in the wake of the credit crunch, a survey has showed.

The study found 49% of people in Scotland were considering a major career change. That is higher than the proportion across the UK, with 45% of people in Britain thinking about a new job.

The survey also found that 52% of Scots said they were stimulated by their current job - the highest level in the UK. And 55% of Scots surveyed said they were either happy or very happy in their present role, with 17% claiming they were dissatisfied by their work.
