Diesel spill sparks traffic chaos

There was traffic chaos in Glasgow after part of the M8 motorway was closed following a diesel spill.

Strathclyde Police said the leak on Friday morning had caused at least three separate accidents involving "numerous" vehicles.

Motorists faced miles of tailbacks after junctions 10 to 19 westbound were closed from 6.30am and traffic diverted.
