NORTH Lanarkshire Council have set out their housing plans for the future.
And they were the focus for an event, bringing together the council and key partners, to help deliver quality housing in North Lanarkshire.
The Local Housing Strategy event looked at how the council operate and examined issues faced by the council and other housing providers.
More than 60 people from housing associations, voluntary organisations such as Shelter and the CAB, the Scottish Government and the health service, attended.
They were joined by council staff and councillors at the event in Motherwell.
A series of workshops included: Consulting on housing quality and design standards that the council aims to adopt for all new build housing; tackling fuel poverty and consulting on the new Scheme of Assistance that the council are introducing to assist home owners and private landlords to repair, maintain and improve their homes.
