Pioneering sight unit to visit Coatbridge

A PIONEERING service for the blind and partially sighted is to visit Coatbridge.

The mobile Sight Loss Information Service will be in town tomorrow (Thursday).

Run by national charity Action for Blind People, it will open its doors to people interested in or affected by visual impairment.

Staffed by a “friendly and knowledgeable” team, the mobile unit carries the latest technology and gadgets to improve daily life for many.

The mobile unit will be outside St Patrick’s Church, near to the Asda entrance, on Thursday, July 2 from 10am to 4pm.
