Phone mast move

MOBILE phone company Orange has been given permission to relocate its mast and transmission equipment at Calderbank.
The phone provider’s equipment at the side of the A8, opposite Eurocentral, must be relocated further north to accommodate scheduled widening of the main trunk road from Glasgow to Edinburgh.
North Lanarkshire Council’s planning committee granted permission for the move to woodland off a private track at Woodhall estate.
