Police release photo-fit of man wanted for indecent assault

MONKLANDS’ Police have released a composite image of a man whom detectives believe may have information in connection with an indecent assault in Bargeddie.

The incident took place around 8.15pm on Sunday, October 26 when a 19 year-old woman walking in the underpass below the A8 on Langmuir Road was indecently assaulted.

The man, whom police believe may have information about this incident, is described as white and between 30-50-years-old, 5ft 7- 5'9" in height and of slim build. He has grey unkempt hair and a short beard. He has large purple bags under his eyes. He was wearing a three quarter length dark coloured jacket with the hood up and fur round the hood, possibly a parka style jacket, dark coloured trousers and grey suede shoes.
