Bryant launch their search for Lanarkshire's home of the future

BRYANT Homes is launching a Lanarkshire-wide competition to find the home of the future, by inviting children across the region to enter drawings of what they dream their house will look like in 50 years.

Entries can be handed in to the marketing suite at any of Bryant Homes' five developments across Lanarkshire between October 13 and 17.

The developments taking part are Excelsior Gate in Motherwell, Imperial View in Airdrie, Newton Farm in Cambuslang, Thornton View in East Kilbride and Wellhall Grange in Hamilton.

One finalist from each development will be chosen before an overall winner is decided. The winner will receive £50 of Borders vouchers, while their school benefits from a £2000 donation, and the four remaining finalists will each win £20 of Borders vouchers.

Amanda Ritchie, sales manager, said: "Bryant Homes is always keen to get involved within the communities in which we are building. We undertake a large number of projects with schools across Scotland and this is one which children can get involved in, at no expense, while they are on holiday.

“Not only will the children stand a chance of winning vouchers for themselves, they will also win money for their school. We are looking forward to seeing what children think their homes will look like in 50 years time!"

An award winning development, Excelsior Gate is ideally located in Motherwell, just 12 miles from Glasgow city centre and offers a selection of three and four bedroom houses and three bedroom townhouses.

Located in Airdrie, Imperial View has a selection of two, three and four bedroom properties. This development is good for commuters, being only 18 miles from Glasgow and 4 miles from Junction 8 of the M8, and families as there are a number of good schools in the area.

Offering something for everyone, Newton Farm is a stylish collection of two bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom homes, all set in the attractive surroundings of Cambuslang, which is described as "the largest village in Scotland".

Thornton View offers a selection of four and five bedroom, detached homes, which benefit from the development's rural location. Just eight miles from the heart of Glasgow, homebuyers can enjoy some of the most spectacular landscapes in the country plus the many attractions offered by the city.

Wellhall Grange is a development of two bedroom apartments and two, three and four bedroom homes. Located on Wellhall Road, just minutes from Hamilton town centre, Wellhall Grange is in an excellent location with Glasgow city centre only 12 miles away. There are eight schools in Wellhall Grange's catchment area so finding the right one for your family is easy.
