Head teacher gets a rousing send-off

A POPULAR head teacher was given a wonderful send-off when she retired at the end of the school term.

Christine Greechan ended a decade at Rochsolloch Primary with a special assembly where many of the children read out warm tributes and presented her with thoughtful gifts.

And the day was made even more special when members of Christine’s family dropped in for a surprise visit.

The now-retired head was clearly moved by the occasion at the Kippen Street primary and said: “The children at the school are fabulous.”
