ANYONE looking to be cheered up and escape all the doom and gloom of the credit crunch and swine ‘flu should make their way to an Airdrie high school any evening next week.
The annual school show at St Margaret’s High next week will be Annie, the heartwarming tale of the little orphan with the big personality who wins the heart of a wealthy industrialist.
Pupils from St Margaret’s have been involved in all areas of the show’s production, and on stage the cast will be drawn not only from the high school, but also from feeder primaries St Aloysius and St David’s.
The show will run at the high school’s theatre on Monday to Thursday, June 15 to 18, starting at 7.30pm each evening. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £4 for all concessions and children.
Anyone wishing to spend an evening with a smile on their face and their toes tapping to infectious tunes can either pay at the door on the night or can make sure of getting a seat by ordering their ticket in advance by calling the school on 01236 794888.
