AN Airdrie primary school wants former pupils to get in touch as part of their Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Tollbrae Primary is 50 years old this year and there are a number events to mark the occasion.
Among them, a reunion ceilidh and disco will be held for former pupils - over the age of 18 - on Friday, May 8.
And a number of displays are being prepared to chart Tollbrae’s half century in the community.
A school spokeswoman said: “During the summer break we will be preparing displays of memorabilia provided by former pupils.
“We would ask former pupils to lend us photographs, reports, newspaper cuttings, tea towels, etc.
“Our intention is to scan the items, where possible, and return them as soon as possible.
“Any memorabilia that we keep will be catalogued and returned in September.”
Parents and former pupils will also be able to buy a brick with their name on it, which will be used to create a commemorative paved area at the school.
