Gemma: a star is born

A PUPIL at St Andrew’s High in Coatbridge may well be the next musical sensation.

Gemma McCabe (11) is in first year and has attended the Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts (GAMTA) twice weekly for a few years.

Gemma’s fantastic talents have led to her being involved in GAMTA’s summer and Easter shows this coming session.

She has starred in productions like ‘High School Musical’ 1 and 2 and the popular show ‘Hairspray.’

In the past, Gemma has also appeared in pantomimes in the Armadillo at the SECC.

All of her friends, family and everyone at St Andrew’s High are very supportive
