Pupils honoured at awards presentation

SENIOR pupils of St Margaret’s High School in Airdrie were treated to a memorable evening – as they celebrated their achievements at the Senior Awards Ceremony.

The event was a resounding success.

And invited guests, along with pupils’ family and friends gathered together in Airdrie Town Hall for the occasion.

Each year the awards ceremony recognises the achievements of pupils from S4, 5 and 6 in academic achievements, sports awards, community leadership, outdoor events and special awards.

This year’s awards was hosted by Elizabeth Barbour, head of senior school, and a spectacular musical programe entertained the audience, courtesy of pupils and staff from the music department.

The awards were presented by Christine Pollock, executive director of learning and leisure services, and congratulations go to everyone who gained an award, as well as staff and pupils who helped make the evening a great success.
