Safety call is uniform

GEM Motoring Assist have said that every school in Monklands should adopt a new ‘uniform’ for the winter of brilliant fluorescent orange.

As part of a UK-wide campaign, GEM say that the Government’s reluctance to keep British Summer Time all year long is causing deaths and hundreds of injuries to kids on their way home from school.

The GEM charitable arm produces free of charge safety booklets for the public, recognises those that work for safer roads, funds essential research and assist with campaigns.
