IS it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Superman.
Or, to be more precise, it is Chapelhall Primary teacher Gordon Murray dressed up as the Man of Steel as part of a special Superhero Day at the school.
Primary-five pupils at Chapelhall took part in the event organised by Mr Murray, who had given all curricular areas a superhero theme.
These included a drama based on how superheroes use their powers and a writing exercise entitled Superhero Saves the Day.
The youngsters also researched Scottish heroes and presented their findings to their classmates.
A spokesman for the school said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed this experience and, by using costumes and scenery in class, everyone was motivated to want to take part.
“Our special visitors from HMIE also enjoyed the activities.”
