AIRDRIE Arts Centre will host a one-man drama set in Glasgow’s east end.
Brian McDade’s production is a gritty but humorous look at what he calls: “Life’s dark comedy in the face of tragedy”.
‘One Foot in the Gallowgate’ is Brian’s latest studio album on which the show is based.
Brian is a long time member of the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters and has been writing and performing his original songs for over 30 years.
His music is best described as falling in the ‘Americana’ genre.
The musician is also the author of ‘Guitar Clown’, a collection of 24 original songs and stories that can progressively improve the playing skills of young and novice guitarists of all ages.
The Coatbridge singer and songwriter will bring the show to Airdrie on Friday, February 24 at 8pm. Tickets cost £5 and are available from The Candy Store, Whifflet Street, Coatbridge.
