Rizzle Kicks set for teen teetotal night

FRESH from touring with Professor Green, dates that included a night at Barrowland, Rizzle Kicks will be returning to Glasgow when they appear at “Jingle Blast”.

The unders night for 12 to 17-year-olds will take place at the Classic Grand and the hip hop duo have been confirmed to appear live.

The night, organised by Clyde 1, will feature a host of DJs from the radio station including In:Demand host Romeo, George Bowie and Suzie McGuire. Shebahn Littlejohn is also going along and there will be competitions and prize giveaways.

Rizzle Kicks (who are Jordan “Rizzle” Stephens and Harley “Sylvester” Alexander-Sule) only released their debut album “Stereo Typical” at the end of last month.

They have already enjoyed considerable chart success, not only with their own singles “Down with the Trumpets” and “When I Was a Youngster” but notably with their collaboration with Olly Murs on “Heart Skips a Beat” which went straight in at number one in the UK charts.

Rizzle Kicks are known for their high-energy, stomping live performancesand will be playing Jingle Blast straight off the back of their UK tour withProfessor Green so fans can expectanother slick performance.

The night will run from 6-9pm on Friday, December 16 and there is a strict non-alcohol policy. Everyone attending will be breathalysed on entry.

The night is a fun and safe environment for teenagers to go and enjoy themselves and dance the night away.
