AN EXCITING up and coming band will be taking the stage in Monklands at the beginning of next week.
The band will be appearing at The Royal in Bank Street, Coatbridge on Saturday, September 6 in what is sure to be a very popular gig.
Kick Superb are four lads from South Wales with a love of inspirational tunes, sharp threads and an attitude to match.
And they have been making their name with a series of superb shows up and down the country which has won them a growing army of fans.
The guys are described as sounding how any of the great British bands of the past would sound if they were around now.
The band includes Alex Nash on lead vocals and guitar, Luke Hughes on drums and backing vocals, Hamish Kay on guitar and backing vocals and Jamie Roberts on bass guitar.
They all grew up together and formed the band when they were in their teens.
Early influences for the lads included The Jam and The Clash and this is reflected in their music.
The lads also firmly uphold a true working class ethic when it comes to writing songs and can be best described as a new wave garage outfit.
They are well worth checking out and will provide the crowd with ‘songs for the terraces’ that everyone can relate to and provide top entertainment.
