Dolly Diamonds sparkling as they win way through to regional finals

MONKLANDS celebrated dancing success as Pamela Logan School of Dance performers the Dolly Diamonds, from Airdrie, made it to the regional finals of Idol 2008.

The girls battled through competitive auditions and are now just one impressive performance away from making it to the Grand National final.

The regional final show will be held in Glasgow on November 2, and if the Dolly Diamonds continue with their success, they will be rewarded with an appearance in the vocal winner’s music video.

They will also be thrust into the media spotlight, through television, radio and the press, and will be invited on the UK Idol Tour.

Idol 2008 is a music and dance competition for singers, dancers and vocal and dance groups. This is the fourth year of the contest and the Dolly Diamonds are determined to do Monklands proud.
