Golf: Successful night at Drumpellier

DRUMPELLIER Golf Club’s ladies’ section held their annual dinner and prize presentation evening earlier this month.

And it was another successful night for Susan Wood after she picked up the champion’s trophy for the fifth consecutive year.

The 30-year-old, who plays off a handicap of two, walked away with eight awards and five trophies as a result of her efforts during the 2009 season.

The night was concluded with a large Christmas hamper raffle which raised £564 for, Guide Dogs for the Blind.
