Pupils are on course for victory

THE fore-ce has been with two pupils from Airdrie Academy who have been celebrating success on the golf course.
Gillian Glenn and Andrew Watt, both of S5, secured their respective victories at Airdrie Golf Club.
On a perfect day for golf, Gillian won the girls’ 18-hole championship with a wonderful net score of 62 to take the silver quaich trophy.
And Andrew, who has a handicap of six, clinched the Darroch Cup scratch strokeplay competition with a round of 73.
