IAN GRAHAM scooped the top prize in Easter Moffat Golf Club’s pro-am on Sunday. The Crow Wood professional carded a six-under par 66 to beat Chris Doak by just one shot to pick up a cheque for £1100.
The winning team at the event with a superb total of 119 was Packawaste, whose team included amateurs Paul Taylor, Alan Greenshields and Bill Niven along with professional Doak.
Pro-am convener John Dunlop said: “The day was superb and we had a little help from the weather for a change. We have had three weeks of heavy rain and the course held up well so I would like to praise our head greenkeeper Scott Fraser and his staff.
“I would like to thank our main sponsor Dovecote Park Technologies, members and friends who entered teams, and William Cumming from the Parks Motor Group for his help in arranging teams.”
