ROVERS gaffer Paul Martin will welcome Ciaran Donnelly back into the squad ahead of the long trip to the north-east.The Cliftonhill midfielder has been out of action for over a month after dislocating his shoulder in the 3-0 League Cup win at home to Livingston on August 1.But the 23-year-old midfielder has come through training this week unscathed and is available for selection again.Martin told Advertiser Sport: "Ciaran looks very fit, even though he is perhaps not match fit, and I have been very pleased with the work he has done with our physio John McMenamy."Young striker Marc McCusker trained with the rest of the squad for the first time last night after battling back from knee surgery. Keeper Jamie Ewings has recovered from ankle knock and will fight it out with Derek Gaston for the No 1 jersey.The manager added: "Both Jamie and Derek have looked great in training and I anticipate having some big decisions to make in the coming weeks."Rovers are confident that hitman David McFarlane will shake off an ankle injury but Martin is without long-term absentee Todd Lumsden for the Third Division match at Links Park.The Coatbridge part-timers are unbeaten in the league this season having recorded two wins and a draw from their opening three games.Read
