Amateur football results and fixtures

CALDERBANK UNITED flew the Scottish Cup flag for Monklands on Saturday after thumping Halliburton 8-0.

It was a result that moved Eamon Reilly’s troops into the fourth round but the Hampden dream is over for both Airdrieonians and Sporting Amateurs.

The ‘Onians were beaten 5-0 by a strong Arthurlie United team while Coatbridge-based Sporting lost 4-0 at Low Waters.

In the Strathclyde Saturday Morning League, Victoria Park picked up their second Division Two win of the season by firing five goals past Hardgate without reply.
