Player of Year: latest positions

AIRDRIE UNITED hitman Paul Di Giacomo and Albion Rovers rookie Bobby Barr are the early leaders in the Advertiser Player of the Year awards.

Diamonds hitman Di Giacomo has collected 12 points and is three ahead of Bobby Donnelly with a trio of stars a further two points behind.

In the Rovers version of the competition, ex-St Johnstone youngster Barr has a five-point lead over Ciaran Donnelly. Pat Walker also has 11 points but he is no longer in contention now that he has embarked on a round-the-world tour. Current leaderboard is:

Airdrie player of the year: 12 points - Di Giacomo; 9 - B Donnelly; 7 - Simon Lynch, Scott McLaughlin, Stephen Robertson.

Rovers player of the year: 16 points - Barr; 11 - C Donnelly, P Walker; 4 - Ross Harris, Marc Pollock, David Scott.
