Title bid in sight

A COATBRIDGE boxer will move a step closer to a Scottish title bout next month.

Craig Windsor jnr has been lined up to fight on September 16 at Birmingham’s Holiday Inn. The 26-year-old is undefeated after victories in each of his first three fights and will be eligible to challenge for a Scottish championship after competing in six clashes.

The Four Isles club have launched their preparations for another season and the Airdrie-based outfit began training on Monday.

Sessions are held in the Four Isles Community Centre in Petersburn on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, running from 6-8pm.
