IRN-BRU SECOND DIVISION:
BRECHIN CITY v ALBION ROVERS
Saturday, Glebe Park, 3pm
Brechin are unbeaten in five games and haven't lost at home in almost four months. The team has been revived under boss Ray McKinnon and only an outrageous swing this weekend in goal difference would see them slip from third place in the table.
Rovers are seven points adrift of safety at the bottom of the standings and have lost six of their last seven games. Both matches between Rovers and Brechin this term have ended in one-goal wins for the Angus side.
Rovers team news:
Suspension rules out the full-back duo of Alan Reid and Barry Russell. Centre-back Mick O'Byrne (ankle) is out injured long-term.
Winger David Crawford is questionable with a hamstring strain but defender Kevin Green is back from a foot problem. Christie Elliot plays his final game before returning to parent club Partick Thistle.
November 20, 2012: Albion Rovers 1 Brechin City 2.
Gary Phillips put the home side in front at the break but City rallied and clinched a terrific away win through Andy Jackson and Derek Carcary.
Rovers boss Todd Lumsden looks ahead to the trip to Brechin and talks about a number of personnel issues with sports reporter Colin Paterson. Please click on the link below to listen:
